Village Deli Bongaree - Bribie Island Cafe & Delicatessen

Just popped in to pick up a quick bite to take away. Service was prompt and friendly. I chose a home-made (in house) sausage roll. I wanted it hot so it was heated in a sandwich maker not nuked in a microwave keeping the pastry crispy. Not kept in a pie warmer. Unlike mass produced that have lots of pastry, these are the exact opposite with thin delicious crisp pastry and jam-packed with tasty, succulent meat filling not bread or cereals. I bought a tomato sauce to go with it but didn't use it as it was tasty enough on its own. Not the cheapest sausage roll but we'll worth it for the overall quality. Plenty of street parking nearby.

Had slice Chicken Feta & Mushroom Quiche. Really tasty, super rich. New Owners lady said for last 4 months. Had been with friend recent school holidays & didn't notice but place was packed. Citrus Tart super with a real citrus tang. Also ate outside & great view of Flame Tree with Passage in background.

I just love going to bribie Island Deli As soon as I walk into the Deli I am greeted with a warm welcome from Chilli, Lucy, Lilly and Van and they know my name . How many other businesses can do that? The food is always fresh and delicious most of it is made by them and there is always new dishes to try , they follow up to see if you enjoy the meal. They are such hard working people aiming to please there customers All the best with your business, you deserve it

This is my absolute favourite cafe! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is consistently excellent. I always love coming here, it's truly a wonderful experience and the best cafe! I love coming here on my lunch breaks.
